Hailing from Oklahoma, Philadelphia-based Jacob Theriot, aka Jaco, began writing/recording music in grade school with his brother and childhood friend. The musical relationship eventually became the band Sports. After 3 albums and a few tours with Sports, Jaco decided to forgo the band to pursue his own career in music, allowing him to uproot from Oklahoma and move to the East Coast in 2021. 

Over the course of two years, Jaco hunkered down in his home studio to record his debut album in collaboration with drummer Andrew Torre and mixer Chad Copelin, with the approach of making the music he wanted to hear. Jaco will be unraveling the project in the coming months in the form of singles that will culminate in an album in early 2024. 

Always Something, the 4th and final single from Jaco Jaco's upcoming debut album, explores themes of co-dependency and learning how to take control of your happiness. The song was produced and performed by Jaco in Philadelphia, PA and mixed by long time collaborator Chad Copelin (Sufjan Stevens, Sports, Broncho) in Norman, OK, and mastered by Dave Cooley.
